Cheese, grilled cheese melts, NZ craft beer, cabinet full of NZ Artisanal cheeses, deli cabinet with delicious fresh daily seasonal salads, organic ham off the bone, baked salmon, house made organic chicken liver pate, paprika rubbed roast organic chickens, corned beef, chefs daily bake. As well as an interesting all day menu, The Dairy is the place to come to for dessert after dinner or lunch in The Lane. There's delicious Kapiti icecream, in a cone or sandwiched between two giant biscuits, milkshakes served in a retro cream bottle, and decadent icecream sodas complete with candyfloss topping. Its also the place to come if you are serious about cheese; there are great rounds of local artisan cheeses piled up on the counter and visible through the port-hole window of the cheese conditioning room.
