A blank wall in the heart of Ponsonby Central is about to become a colourful symbol of kindness. Transforming into a vibrant work of public art — 100,000 Dots of Positivity is an evolving mosaic of handwritten words celebrating joy, gratitude, and kindness.
One dot at a time.
Each dot will carry a single word of positivity, handwritten by a visitor and placed freely on the wall. The result will be a vibrant and growing canvas that reflects the spirit of the community in real time, offering a moment of brightness to everyone who passes by.
But this is more than art—it’s impact.
In partnership with the Kindness Collective, visitors will be encouraged to make a donation for every dot they place. 100% of proceeds will go to support families in need across Aotearoa, helping bring joy and practical aid to those who need it most.
